Flowers given to people over 55 were not only reported to improve mood but short term memory.
The scent of certain flowers can also have a wonderful effect. For example, the scent of a rose can evoke nostalgia that brings happy moments back to memory, while the scent of lilies can increase wakefulness and help you stay alert.
