Ontario Flower Growers Announces “Always in Season” Contest Winners
MISSISSAUGA - July 3, 2008 - Ontario Flower Growers Co-operative Ltd. (OFG) is proud to announce the Grand Prize winners of the “Always in Season” contest. The contest was developed as part of a multi-faceted brand launch for the Ontario Flowers brand that took place from March 10 until May 16, 2008.
The Ontario Flowers brand designation was developed to help consumers choose the best quality fresh cut flowers available and grown in Ontario. The brand’s tagline, “Always In Season”, communicates the year-round availability of fresh cut Ontario Flowers brand flowers and their role in making consumers’ homes fresher and more beautiful every day. The logo and tagline represent the essence of the brand: locally grown quality and freshness of the highest standards.
The “Always in Season” contest was open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec. To enter the contest, consumers purchased fresh-cut flowers from Loblaws stores across Ontario. Fresh flower bouquets came with a label that displayed a web address to encourage consumers to enter the contest online. All qualifying entries were automatically entered into a draw to win one of five Flowerstyle: the FTD Guide to Flowers in Your Home books by Pat Ross. Twenty-five secondary prize winners were randomly selected and won Easy Flowers books by Jane Durbridge and Antonia Swinson.
